Goal:

Create a project image and advertising campaign for a fully renovated heritage building converted into loft apartments.

Case Study:

When our client gave us the initial idea behind the School House Lofts project, we were excited with the design possibilities.  The original building is a school built in 1912 by renowned Ottawa architect Frank C. Sullivan and our client wanted to refit the structure for 11 loft apartments and the property for an additional structure including 12 stacked townhomes.  The setting was perfect; an up-and-coming neighborhood that makes up the heart of the city’s Arts District, tons of beautiful heritage architectural elements and a target market that is always looking for something new.

We let the old school be our inspiration and took elements for the logo and design applications from the hundreds of photographs we took of the building before renovations started.  The pressed tin ceilings, gorgeous palladium windows and heritage detailing throughout crept their way into an overall modern marketing campaign.  The end result is a distinct look that has been a real success.  Take a look at the School House Lofts website here for more information. s
